Genealogy of the Woodcock Valley

Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania

Huntingdon County Civil War Companies

The men of Huntingdon County did their part to defend their beliefs during the Civil War. The men of the Woodcock Valley were an exceptionally strong group who were among the first to step up and enlist their service to the Union cause. Many of these men would either fight until the end of the war, or give their lives or suffer severe injuries along the way.

While there were many companies of men who fought in the Civil War from which Huntingdon County men joined, there were some specific companies that were full of men from the Woodcock Valley or served a special role to Huntingdon County. Some of these companies have been specifically shared in great detail.

If you can provide any information on any of the individuals who served in the companies above or in another company from Huntingdon County, please complete a Civil Roll Roll Call form.
